Major Lazer, Justin Bieber & - Cold Water

Justin Bieber (or someone on his team) is far savvier than we could have ever envisioned. It seems like just yesterday he was peeing on national landmarks and losing custody of exotic pets at international borders. But oh how the manchild can grow! Sometimes all redemption takes is a catchy song and the perfect pair of producers. Just ask Diplo and Skrillex. In the wake of "Where Are Ü Now" Beiber's latest victory lap includes a team-up with Major Lazer and MØ. "Cold Water" is a simmering summer jam, in which he explicitly acknowledges his rocky past: " Everybody gets high sometimes, ya know / Cause we all get lost sometimes you know / It's how we learn and grow" Maybe he'll get that monkey back after all.

Against Me - 333

Against Me have announced their follow-up to 2014's triumphant Transgender Dysphoria Blues. The punk band's eighth studio album, Shape Shift With Me, will be out in the fall and according to front woman Laura Jane Grace, it promises to provide a "trans perspective on sex, love and heartbreak." Lead single "333" is a pounding anthem that extrapolates on those themes in the most rollicking way possible and bodes well for the band's return.

Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam - A 1000 Times

Rosters Batmanglij has kept incredibly busy since leaving Vampire Weekend in January, releasing several singles and even co-writing with Kanye and Francis and the Lights. Now he's formed a new group with the Walkmen's Hamilton Leithauser. Their debut track "A 1000 Times" features Hamilton's luxurious vocals. The way his voice stretches and purrs around every syllable is a perfect match for Rostam's production. Here's hoping a full-length isn't far behind.

Joseph J. Jones - The Video

"The Video" is the debut track by up-and-coming singer-songwriter and former boxer Joseph J. Jones. And while the song was technically released nearly two months ago, it finally got, well, the video treatment this week. The haunting song is bolstered by the sepia-tinged clip. But the real star is Jones' soulful growl, which soars over stark piano chords.

Miranda Lambert - Vice

Given the country superstar's track record for combining biting honesty with killer melodies, there has been a lot of anticipation for her first post-divorce album since her split with Blake Shelton. Her latest single "Vice" is a hint of what's to come and with it does not disappoint. As the lyrics attest, Lambert's going through the hard times, climbing out of someone else's bed and wading through the morning-after gossip. It's a great first sip of what could be Miranda's Lemonade.
