The singer-songwriter opens up about the inception of her interest in music and gives insight into her process
Given her musical and cultural background, LÉON's pop prowess shouldn't come as a surprise. Hailing from Sweden, she's been writing and recording her own songs since she was only nine years old. The singer-songwriter first caught our attention with her official debut EP, Treasure. Released last year, it's a short but sweet set of immaculately crafted pop. Her powerful vocals and up-tempo beats make for a memorable set of empowering anthems, especially "Tired of Talking."
We sat down with the rising singer, as she discussed her inspirations, awkward school concerts, and the appeal of writing songs in English.
