Even with rain in the forecast, the music at Voodoo never stopped. The annual music and arts experience returned to City Park in New Orleans, Louisiana this year over Halloween weekend.

Guns N' Roses headlined the damp first day, powering through a nearly three-hour performance. The rock and roll icons dove straight into their archives and opened with “It's So Easy" and “Mr. Brownstone" off 1987 debut album Appetite For Destruction. A wide selection of covers also made the set, including Soundgarden's “Black Hole Sun" and Misfits' “Attitude." And among the band's multitude of hits came a standout performance of “November Rain," which was accompanied by a late-October downpour. The chance encounter felt like a silver lining to the day's stormy conditions.

The space surrounding Voodoo's stages lived and breathed Louisiana history and culture. Lagoons, bayous, and oak trees were all in sight as local vendors cooked up traditional New Orleans cuisine. Art installations, a craft marketplace, and even an interactive graveyard immersed the crowd in constant activity. The festival's slogan, “Worship the music. Worship the arts," came to life.

The weekend also saw performances from more than 65 acts, including Beck, Post Malone, Brandi Carlile, The National, and Bassnectar. Last.fm's photographer, Steve Galli, caught 35 sets and shared these images.
