The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival celebrated New Orleans' 300th anniversary this year.
Taking place over two weekends between 27 April and 6 May, the weather turned out great and our photographer Steve Galli captured more than 100 artists over 7 days. He was among 450,000 attendees who came to celebrate Louisiana's rich musical history as well as New Orleans's tricentennial. Next year marks the 50th Anniversary of the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, which will take place between 26 April and 5 May 2019.
