In just a few short days London will be treated to an extra edition of one of the most pleasing days in the music calendar - the Independent Label Market. Traditionally taking place twice-annually in the Summer and Christmas lead-up, the market's recent success has led to a brand new date for record-buying lovers at the end of March at Old Spitalfields Market - supported by the Association of Independent Music (AIM).
Having launched in London 2011, the label market is the perfect opportunity for music fans to get direct access to the catalogue of an eye-watering amount of record labels, such as Domino, Warp, Erased Tapes, Sonic Cathedral and many more. This year the market is branching out even further, with stalls pitching their best in Berlin, Glasgow, Bristol and LA.
Last.fm will be present at the forthcoming March event in London as we take in interviews with some of music's leading tastemakers and label founders as they speak about the releases that define their tastes and labels. Look out for that to come online after the event.
