At risk of hyperbole, Wolf Alice are genuinely one of the true great prospects of British rock music. Led by the vibrant vocal of Ellie Rowsell, the band have already showcased over just two EPs (2013's 'Blush' and 2014's 'Creature Songs') their ability to fuse restrained melancholy with snarling aggression without ever actually sounding like they're unsure what they want to focus on. It's that seamless dynamism that has led us to get all kinds of excited over the announcement of the release of their debut album 'My Love Is Cool', out 22nd June via Dirty Hit Records (pre-order HERE).
With that in mind we thought it would be rude if we didn't invite them to take part in the Last.fm Lightship95 Series, a programme of performances by the likes of Portico, Yann Tiersen, Glass Animals and Tycho.
