A couple of months back, we launched a BETA version of the new Last.fm to registered users and now we're ready for it to go live to everyone.

The new, re-imagined Last.fm includes a host of innovative features that will help users better navigate, explore and enjoy an infinite universe of music.

Some of the features included are:

1. The new User Homepage - which includes tracks, albums, artists and events (with even more to come) - surfaces all the music you are sure to love in one handy place. Whether it's a brand new release or a forgotten favourite, click play to listen instantly via the new Last.fm Playbar
2. Last.fm Live lets you visualise in real-time the listening habits and trends of Last.fm's global community. It does this by using a series of interactive widgets that surface trending music, artists, most loved tracks and more. Essentially, what Last.fm users are listening to and where.
3. A new Library Explorer, which enables you to delve deep into your listening history to rekindle those distant memories. What were you listening to on that hazy day back in Summer 2009? Last.fm can tell you exactly that.
4. The new Last.fm Playbar, gives you access to a huge catalogue of music by pulling in music from multiple streaming sources and staying with you across the site wherever your Last.fm journey takes you.
5. Last.fm has also added Metacritic scores to album pages. Metacritic aggregates music reviews from leading critics around the world; meaning you can now see what scores albums are given by tastemakers alongside our listening data from fans.

By surfacing Last.fm's listening data and music in new and more relevant ways, we're able to offer users the strongest, most personalised music recommendations around. Last.fm does this by connecting the most popular places to listen, watch and share music - from Spotify to YouTube, iTunes to Tidal - while organising your listening history and introducing you to music based on your tastes.
