Once upon a time there was this really underappreciated post-punk band from Znamensk, Astrakhan Oblast that was formed in December 1994. Band consisted of: Kuzmin (vocals, guitar, keys), Popov aka "Dan" (guitar), Tselischev (guitar), Rukavanov (bass), Polovinkin aka "Botsman" (drums).
Throughout their playing history they changed 13 people. Their concerts could be considered subpar; lacking punk drive, and everything was played out just on their enthusiasm. They played whenever they could or were able to, often stopped their shows early thanks to the police interference. All of their releases were recorded at home in one room during drunk parties. In total this band released 7 albums in lo-fi post-punk/garage rock quality. In the end, this band successfully disbanded in 2002 as it was bound to happen.
Since 2002 it was known as - Fata Morgana
Since 2009 it was known as - Вещие Ослы
