ピチカート・ファイヴ (Pizzicato Five) was a group based in Tokyo, Japan that was active from around 1984 to 2001 and are remembered as one of the defining artists of the Shibuya-kei movement of contemporary dance music influenced by 1960s pop that flourished in Japan in the 1990s. They did originality consist of a conventional band of five members: keyboardist and backing singer KAMOMIYA Ryō, bassist and band leader KONISHI Yasuharu, drummer MIYATA Shigeo, guitarist TAKANAMI Keitarō and lead singer SASAKI Mamiko.
