"Hollow" is a single by the Seattle metal band Alice in Chains, from the band's upcoming fifth studio album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, which was released on May 28, 2013. It was released as streaming only on December 18th, 2012 via YouTube, and as as a downloadable single on January 8th, 2013. The band released snippets of the lyrics on Instagram, one phrase at a time, leading up to the reveal of the final track. They encouraged users to submit photos with the lyrics in mind, and they'd be included in a fan-made lyric video.

Alice in Chains is an American grunge/ alternative metal band from Seattle, Washington, formed in 1987 by guitarist/vocalist Jerry Cantrell and drummer Sean Kinney, who then recruited bassist Mike Starr and lead vocalist Layne Staley. Starr was replaced by Mike Inez in 1993. William DuVall joined the band in 2006 as co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, replacing Staley, who died in 2002.
