My brother Calvin L Williams was the lead guitar player for this group, he passed away this year, March 2013. The drummer is also deceased, as are two of the singers along with the trumpet player Big herman as he was called. Also the song Love Fades is not correct, my brother wrote that song and the proper name for it is Love Saves. As far as i know all members were from Indianapolis,In and the remaining members of the group still live in the area. Amnesty came together for the first time in 1968. The group was an amalgamation of the vocal quartet know as 'The Embers' (J. Trotter, D. Malone, G. Burke, A. L. Cobb) and a three peice rhythm section by the name of 'The Crimson Tide'. This group was made up of C. Williams on Guitar, J. 'Red' Massie on Bass and P. 'Kirk' Alexander playing Drums.
