Felt This Way is the third track on Carly Rae Jepsen's fifth studio album, Dedicated Side B (2020). The song is followed up by “Stay Away,” a track with similar lyrics, albeit rearranged, but in a completely different musical arrangement. Carly dedicates “Felt This Way” to someone she is falling for. She has found shelter in that person and wonders if it is love or just an attraction. It was written by Jepsen, John Hill, Jordan Palmer, Tavish Crowe, Jakob Hazell and Svante Halldin. Hill and Palmer also handled production along with Rob Cohen.
