Harmon, who was born in Charleston, West Virginia wrote and performed music on the East Coast throughout the 1990's and early 2000's. During that time, he fronted the Kentucky-based indie bands "Jacob's Ladder," "Chiaroscuro," "Attic Down," and "Van Gogh Sky".
