“Tipsy” serves as the fifth track off of Chloe x Halle’s second studio album Ungodly Hour. In this song, Chloe and Halle are illustrating being intoxicated by their lovers but if they do anything to break their hearts, they would break their lovers' hearts right back. This song exaggerates that concept by warning their significant others that they would kill them if they make a wrong move. The word “tipsy” can also act as a double entendre, saying that they love the feeling of being in love but being drunk can also lead to impulsive and emotion-led decisions, such as murder.
