Look at Us Now (Honeycomb) is an original song performed by the group Daisy Jones & The Six in the book and its TV series adaptation.
The Six prepared to release their second album titled SevenEightNine, with Billy writing a song that showed Camila his love for her and that the future he had with her was a sure thing. It was about him wanting to give her the house near the honeycombs and the perfect life together. Teddy thought the song needed a female voice and brought in his solo act Daisy Jones, despite Billy's objections. Daisy changed the song by making some of the statements into questions, changing it from a song about security into a song about insecurity. The pair recorded the song together, though Billy later lifted her vocals and re-recorded the song without her. The version with both him and Daisy was added to the album.
SevenEightNine was released on June 1, 1976. Honeycomb debuted at number 86, but steadily climbed. critic Nick Harris said that "Honeycomb" was the clear standout on The Six's album, and showed the world they could release a first-class pop song. After The Six performed at the Whiskey, Runner Records announced that Daisy would join the band on tour as their opening act. "Honeycomb" rose to the top 20.
