4-piece indie rock band from Washington DC (1998-2002). Feckless Beast co-produced with Scott McKnight (Suffragette Records, 2002). Original lineup: Bernd Jaehnigen (drums),David Lee (guitar, vocals), Liz Langston (bass, vocals), and Doug Mayo-Wells (guitar, vocals). Langston left in 2001 to pursue film-making interests and was replaced by John Gressang (ex-Lesbian boy). Since 2002, Lee joined Stave, Mayo-Wells played in King Kilowatt, Semi Lunar Valve, and Shoddy Workmanship before joining The Hyphens in Boston, and Jaehnigen and Gressang played in Jealous Lover Targets.
