Originally meant to be placed between Beast Inside and Niagara on the band's second album The Beast Inside, Skidoo started off as a jam between the band's then vocalist Tom Hingley and bassist Martyn Walsh. The lyrics are influenced by John Milton’s poem "Paradise Lost" which describes Lucifer being cast out of heaven and falling for an entire day and night into hell. This is the b-side to the single Caravan and was recently put in its original spot on the 2021 reissue of The Beast Inside.
