Chunky Shrapnel was released on April 24th, 2020, to accompany the concert film of the same name. It features live versions of 11 King Gizzard songs, a live drum solo ("Parking - Live in Brussels 2019"), a 19-minute live jam ("A Brief History of Planet Earth - Live in London, Berlin, Utrecht, and Barcelona 2019"), and three new instrumental tracks, composed by King Gizzard's Stu Mackenzie.
