Kurdt Vanderhoof (Aberdeen) is an American singer and guitarist. His first band was Metal Church, which was named after his apartement in San Francisco (California). Pretty soon he left to his place of birth and renamed the band to Shrapnel. Mike 'Sport' Murphy left the band and was replaced by David Wayne. In 1983 Shrapnel was changed back into Metal Church.
