This isn’t the only track on the album that is a callback to one of West’s songs, as “Heard Em Say” is also an interpolation of Kanye’s song of the same name. He enlists help from Silas — a Maryland rapper he signed to Bobby Boy records in 2019 — who also discusses how his life has changed in just one year under the tutelage of one of his idols.
