“Do Ya Deed” is the first collaboration between NAV and Atlanta-based artist SahBabii. In July 2020, NAV shouted out SahBabii’s recently released album Barnacles on his Instagram story. Photos later emerged from a studio session between the two artists, which is presumably when this song was recorded. The song features SahBabii employing his signature effortless flow paired with his trademark witty lyricism. On the other hand, NAV raps in his typical lackadaisical, autotuned delivery, with the song’s chopped and screwed outro reminiscent to his early hits such as “Myself.”
