I like to have the electric part first so I usually sequence it 9-6-7-8-2-3-4-5-1.

well, i guess what matters is that the rawness of his live performance was captured...which is why this and Live Rust are my favorite Neil Young albums. Don't get me wrong I love his studio stuff, but his live guitar solos and raw and emotion/energy in a live setting always blow me away. And Pocahontas and Sailaway are good, but definitely not my favorites from this album.

"Powderfinger" is so good. It's like a wonderful William Faulkner story, full of angst, rebellion, and poetic symbolism ("raised my rifle to my eye, never stopped to wonder why, then I saw black and my face splashed in the sky"). This song is the summation of everything great about Neil - misfit characters who stand for their beliefs and don't back down in the face of unquestioned authority...

Pocohontas was also recorded in studio. But, it's considered to be equivalent to a studio album because most of the audience noise was removed.

Yeah, a great, classic album. Few albums can I listen to start to finish anymore. But this one I can. It's a series of stories and attitudes which makes up one story. A favorite record of my boyhood.

brilliant...I love that he released new material in a live album; pretty ballsy!
