''Neptūns'' was a rock band from Liepaja. Founded in 1962 as a pop orchestra from the fishermen's collective farm "Bolsheviks", in the early 1980s as new members joined, the group turned to rock music and later heavy metal. In 1982, the group consisted of Ainars Virga (guitar), Uldis Šokolejs (bass), Guntars Račs (drums), Līga Poškus (voice), Viktors Smetanenko (voice).
