Weren't the Who called the Magic Numbers before they were called The Who? and shouldn't Mr Townshend have been given an O.B.E or George Cross equivalent by now for having the bottle to acknowledge publicly that he was not a hypocrite and set a better example to many of his elders, peers and juniors that they may have yet not even begun to comprehend.Perhaps if he dyes his hair ginger and wears The Union Jack as g-string on stage in front of thousands of teenagers ,marries a famous footballer and tries to earn a living from from making a repulsive role model of himself but calls himself "snotty" to excuse it or puts on a nightdress and prances around on TV before the 9pm watershed seeking to demonstrate sufficient charm to have ever been invited to a ballroom in the 1960's or early 1970's (and we rename him "baybeee snotty" when he is rushing around keeping the butter in his cool in his angelic locks,for example,the divine media in this country would start to consider reorganising its priorities and bringing objective& relevant reporting into fashion rather than continuing to make it a fearful experience to be found to be less than perfect and acknowledge that ,without attaching a price tag to it.
