In the demo version of this song found on the album “We Rose From Your Bed With The Sun in Our Head”, Michael Gira says “This is a song to our creator”. Like so much of the Swans' music (especially their recent albums), this song has a transcendental urge behind it, a search for greater meaning. Ultimately, it is a search for God or something equivalent.
