On “Not Sober,” The Kid LAROI, Stunna Gambino, and Polo G talk about difficult relationships and experiences in their lives, often having to fall back on drugs to cope with the pain they bring. On February 24, 2021, a demo version of the track leaked with LAROI, and snippets of Stunna’s verse surfaced shortly after during the first of its two music video shoots, one for Stunna in New York and one for Polo in Los Angeles. On July 13, 2021, LAROI confirmed its placement on his upcoming EP, when it is expected to drop alongside the music video.
