The song hit the #19 spot in the U.S. charts in late 1986. Critic Mike DeGagne of the All Music Guide has written that the song "is a an unblemished rock tune with an effectively echoed vocal track, again highlighting the band's sweet-sounding consonance that's mixed in with rugged guitar work."
