Biography
Formed in 2007, Theories & Clockwork is a progressive band from the Atlanta area. It began as a jam project between guitarist Will Partin and drummer Austin Hollimon. The two had been playing classical music together for 4 years prior to beginning the band. It was quickly expanded to fellow classical musician and bassist A.D. Jones. The three quickly made plans to preform a song at their former schools talent show, which would require a keyboarist. Will contacted schoolmate Chris Perry and the lineup was complete, minus a singer, who they are currently searching for. The band brings the classical training and precision to the genre of progressive music. The music is tight, complex, yet has a familiar attraction to it. The mish mash of metal, progressive, funk, jazz and post punk creates a unique sound, and an album of staggering variety.
