"Douchebag" is the first song from UPSAHL’s album "Lady Jesus". It was initially announced on an instagram live and shortly after played at her Young Life Crisis virtual concert. She later shared snippets on TikTok, which caught attention, before announcing the song would be released on 14th May 2021. The song tells the story of a difficult breakup she described as causing to lose half of herself. This song is “Chapter 1” of her new album which tells the story of her recovery and rebirth from this event in chronological order.
