YellowStraps was created by two brothers, Yvan (vocals) and Alban (guitar) Murenzi. They were born in Rwanda and grew up in Uganda before moving to Belgium, more precisely in the suburbs of Brussels. They started making music on their own before meeting the Belgian producer Le Motel.
