I feel like Cult of Luna may have gotten some inspiration from this album cover for their 2019 album A Day to Fear.

@RumbleFishing: Very well composed and I really agree. But I hope that we are not waiting for Godot.

I wonder why I preferred Golevka over Maar, how about this: Golevka is energizing, Maar is relaxing. Golevka is the search, Maar is the finding. This is what runs through my veins and makes me wanna breathe further. Golevka is what I go to sleep with, Maar is what I get up with. Absolute Perfection. I can only hope for more, one day ... waiting for Godot ?

Several thousand listens later, I think this album shows the growing maturity of the band and reveals how they made much better use of studio resources this time around. Definitely a quantum leap ahead of Golevka. I can imagine them never creating a third album because by god, it would be hard to top this.

When I listen to The Dipole Experiment I think "Golveka is the better album", then I listen to Eighteen Robins Road and think the same of Maar. Both albums are ridiculous, and I can't wait to hear what they do next.

This is way better than Golevka. I thought Golevka had it's moments but ever since Maar came out I've been completely in love with this band.

I like Golevka a lot- but Eighteen Robins Road makes this album, in my opinion, their best. it's ridiculous.
