The Grammy Award-winning Yellowjackets have never fitted neatly into a single category. Since their popularity began in the 1980s, their contemporary blend of jazz and funk often invites comparisons with Spyro Gyra and other smooth jazz artists.
The Yellowjackets continue to evolve, folding world music into their repertoire and welcoming new approaches as their line up changes. These guys are a formidable group not to be missed.
