Description
An extra date has been added for Leonard Cohen to appear at Sligo’s Lissadell House after tickets for the first one sold out in just six minutes on the 26th of April 2010.
The Canadian musician will now play both July 31st and August 1st in his only Irish appearance this year.
10,000 people are expected to descend on Lissadell each night for the all seated event, the first concert ever to be held on the grounds of the estate.
It’s hoped the influx of music-lovers will provide a tourism boost for Sligo and nearby South Donegal.
Lindsey Holmes from Lindsey Holmes Publicity said the extra date gives disappointed fans another chance.
