Description

'Till 3am - £15.57 @https://theParadise.TicketABC.com/events/paradise-carnival-su/

London’s biggest street party, the Notting Hill Carnival, is fast approaching and Kensal Green’s dance music bastion Paradise is preparing its annual summer shake-up for the mammoth weekender. Situated in the action packed hub of the chaotic West London celebrations, Paradise will be turning dining room to dancefloor, dusting off the soundsystem and playing host to some of the finest electronic artists of the moment. Last year’s proceedings saw chart smasher Katy B, Mercury prize winner Jamie XX and the year’s most exciting producer A-Trak bring the beats, but 2011’s bill is set to rock the venue’s foundations like never before.

Sunday 28th August welcomes one the pioneers of the UK's electronic music scene, Stereo MCs to the Paradise for a special live set. Celebrating the imminent release of their new album, Emperor's Nightingale on !K7 Records, the band have prepped a set which will include brand new music as well as anthems like ‘Connected’ and ‘Step It Up’, demonstrating just why they have been such a big influence on the UK urban scene and beyond. And if that wasn’t enough for you, we’ll also be hosting the dancehall diva come pop crossover talent of Ms Dynamite, whose double-time flows could not be more perfect for some Carnival mayhem. Ultra fresh poptronica upstart, Ayah Marar, is also on board to wow crowds with her unique spin on hard-edged, underground dance music and soulful vocals. Set to take to the decks, we’ve invited electro/house hero Jack Beats, whose multi-faceted electronica will forge a link between the live artists’ sounds, sending the party off with an almighty bang.

The Paradise Carnival celebrations are famously unparalleled when it comes to amazing musical variety, home grown talent and, most importantly, vibes. A stepping stone away from Notting Hill’s carnage ridden streets, The Paradise Carnival Weekend is the only place to ride out the party until the early hours.
