Description

The Movement Festival places Grammy award winning Hip Hop heavyweights, with mixtape kings and local heroes in what's destined to takeover as THE Hip Hop and Urban event in New Zealand.

With more than 20 years in the business and often called the greatest rapper alive, Nas is an artist who needs little or no introduction.

Due to a pending court case and Australia and New Zealand Visa eligibility requirements and processing timelines, 2 Chainz will no longer be performing at Movement this April.

Angel Haze has also been forced to withdraw from the inaugural Movement due to recording commitments with a certain high profile producer unavailable other than at the time planned to perform in Australia.

Whilst this news is disappointing, we are thrilled to add IGGY AZALEA to all shows. The Australian born MC will be here on her first Australian tour since taking America and the world by storm, and on the back of her brand new single "Work".

Live Nation, Niche Productions and Muchmore Music are proud to present, in association with American Hip-Hop legend Nas, the Movement Festival coming to New Zealand. The Movement Festival places Grammy award winning Hip Hop heavyweights, with mixtape kings and local heroes in what's destined to takeover as THE Hip Hop and Urban event in New Zealand.

Flanked by certified radio and chart bangers like the ARIA chart top 10 and MGMT sampling Opposite Of Adults, Mind Your Manners or Ray Charles, Chiddy Bang bring an overwhelming party vibe to Movement's lineup.

Also on the bill is mixtape King, Joey Bada$$ who is poised to set the world on fire with his new album in 2013.

NZ acts Homebrew, David Dallas and DJ Severe join the bill.
