Det alternative countryrockbandet fra Minneapolis har alltid hatt mange fans her i landet, og er kjent for sitt gnistrende samspill og sine flotte harmonier. De har spilt hos oss flere ganger tidligere, senest i 2012, men det er faktisk hele ti år siden sist denne versjonen av bandet spilte i Oslo. Vi snakker om line-upen som ga oss albumene “Sound Of Lies” (1997), “Smile” (2000) og “Rainy Day Music” (2003)! Gary Louris har kommet med følgende uttalelse om den forestående turnéen: “They say that there is no going back. They say that you can never go home again. But we are sure the hell going to try. Karen Grotberg, Tim O’Reagan, Marc Perlman, Gary Louris, and Kraig Johnson are thrilled to dive back into the darkness of Sound Of Lies, the joyous pop of Smile, and the simplicity of Rainy Day Music”.
