Description

Featuring Modest Mouse, Slowdive, Tropical F*ck Storm, Beach Fossils, Cloud Nothings and Majak Door!

Presented by Destroy All Lines

Good times are ahead for indie music lovers with the arrival of Daydream. Touring Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this Autumn, the indie shindig is stocked with revered alternative acts including Modest Mouse, Slowdive, Tropical F*ck Storm and more.

The one stage format means you won't miss any of the indie heavyweights on offer;

MODEST MOUSE (USA) SLOWDIVE (UK) | TROPICAL F*CK STORM | BEACH FOSSILS (USA)CLOUD NOTHINGS (USA) | MAJAK DOOR* *Not appearing in Brisbane

Returning down under for the first time since 2016, indie-rock royalty Modest Mouse will bring along cult favourites "Float On", "Dashboard" and classics from the revered The Lonesome Crowded West, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year. The The Golden Casket, the band's seventh-studio album and first new album in six years, is exploring the degradation of America's psychic landscape through the glass of the smartphone screen. Pitchfork deems the album "a procession of pinging, clanging, reverberating tactile pleasures, an inventive backdrop for Isaac Brock's familiar blend of forced optimism and unforced paranoia."

Reforming in 2014 and releasing a self titled album in 2017, 90's shoegazers Slowdive are gracing the stage with their ambient-rock infused gems, sure to have crowds swaying to songs like "When the Sun Hits" and the beautifully understated "Sugar For The Pill".

Australian grit-rockers Tropical F*ck Storm are known for their commitment to building songs on the weirdest possible grooves and will unleash their trademark fiery and chaotic set. Brooklyn's Beach Fossils will mesmerise with pop-hazed tracks like "Down The Line" and "Sleep Apnea". Cloud Nothings will bring tastes from their eight album back catalogue and local surf rock 60s psychedelia outfit Majak Door will bring the vibes to Melbourne and Sydney.

Made for the more discerning music lovers, this new event will ensure you get a solid fix of the indie-rock goodness you've been daydreaming of.
