I have to say the program this year was kinda shitty with a big loss in rock potential. But being a big Paléo fan for it's diversity I gave it a try. The Hives were massive, and I really wonder what kind of madness incited the organisers to put them at 7:00 which was a huge shame since they rocked my socks off and gave me a nice big nose bleed from the mosh. I'm From Barcelona had a really good energy and were quite fun even though a little samey. Justice simply had nothing to do on the Big Stage and Mika put on a pretty good show although the set as really short due to his only album. The Dodoz are a good bet for french rock. BB Brunes were sad as you might have expected, playing rockstars for 13 year olds. Grand Corps Malade gave a nice, intelligent, and at times funny set. Massive Attack were huge and incredibly powerful. Cocoon are also a good bet for folk pop future: think Sufjan Stevens meets Damien Rice. Dyonisos were simply the best live act of this year's paleo.

This was an excellent festival. Ben Harper did not disappoint. Mika was great (I breathe for "Relax, Take It Easy"... pop at its finest). Seeing Yael Naim, IAM, Mickey Green & Vanessa Da Mata was a dream come true. MANU CHAO. Just Brilliant! And of course, I must shout out to my Africans: I was very excited to see Nneka and Mayra Andrade. LOVE LOVE THEM. Tiken Jah Fakoly's live rendition of his song "Foly" was great. His band and back up singers (with their blue outfits and perfect choreography) plus his ENERGY had everyone BOUNCING. But my heart went to Asa. She is captivating. Her voice is silk. She and her band had to come back for an encore due to the loud cheers. I am very excited for her career and it is nice to see another African sister do well. And I must make a comment about the 100 or so stands of international cuisine from all over the world: Ethiopia, Vietnam, Brazil.. heck, there was Japanese pizza! There is no better combination of great music and great food.

I went to the Paleo Festival and i saw the live of ''Justice'' (so long and after 30 minutes the show isn't interresant...) ''girls in hawai'' and ''i'm from barcelona'' was cool..And Babestruques (i forget the name,he plays with her hand etc) was very beautiful and magic..But in first i will saw Mika because il love Lollipop and take it easy..Finally it's a wonderfull show !He speak good French and he sing ''Grace Kelly'' (i think the name is that...) in french and i love so much ''Pour que tu m'aimes bien ,pour que tu m'aime bien ,pour que tu m'adore'' YEAAAAH *.* Now i go to the fnac for buy her first album...I hope Mika return in Switzerland soon ! (I don't speak good english, sorry XD)
