Overview of Festival:
The Daytona Beach International Festival (DBIF) is the American Festival Residency of the London Symphony Orchestra (LSO). In addition to the LSO, DBIF features more than a dozen phenomenal artists from around the globe, performing dance, jazz, classical, folk and world music, creating a beachside cultural destination unlike any other in the world.
Fun Facts About DBIF:
• The Daytona Beach International Festival is the largest international and orchestral music festival in Florida.
• The 17-day Festival is the longest music festival of its kind in Florida.
• The LSO Pops! Concert is believed to be the largest indoor orchestral concert of it’s kind in Florida and the Southeast US, with over 7,000 in attendance.
• In 1991, the LSO made Daytona Beach their “Official American Summer Home.”
• In 2007, DBIF hosted a record 50,000 attendees to both ticketed and free concerts.
