Every two albums this band just completely re-invents their own sound into something completely different.

If they want to play what they played in the 90s again, they should commit. Ramp up those damn keys. Make them loud. These two new albums are disappointing because they sound so restrained, neither fish nor fowl. Bland. Meh.

yes! that's it. it was the keyboards! I really like cosmic world mother but I always thinkin "there's something missing..." besides the vocals, the keys are the weakest part.

I think the mastering destroys the experience because of the low volume, in metal productions this rarely works well and feels like they're restraining something that is made to be explosive and loud.

As In Gardens, So In Tombs absolutely lived up to the hype I had for it with the singles. Magnificent album. A huge step up from Cosmic World Mother, which was a banger in its own rite. Early AOTY frontrunner, and presently, I don't see anything surpassing it, seeing as it's better than any album from 2022.

It was a great album indeed. To beat anything from 2022 is a big call. Definitely a top notch album though.

Самая первая песня Trollfan звучит, как если бы тролль проник в мир людей, поджёг церковь, взорвал рядом стоящую бензозаправку, уебал ментам поленом и побежал осенней тропой обратно в лес радостный.

A straight up solid Melodic Black Metal album that will surely get better with every listen.

Incredibly disappointing new album. Went the same path as Limbonic Art and ditched all the spacey quirks in lieu of bland and straight forward black metal with tiny symphonic tinges. Meh.

The new vocalist barely evokes any emotion or thought in me besides "I can see how Kena would have done this in way more impactful manner" kind of thing.

I really feel they should have released this as the third Magenta Harvest album as the line up is almost the same. The vocalist is the same and most members. But whatever I guess this is the new ...and Oceans then. The new album has grown on me but the older ones were better. The previous vocalist was better.

This new album is really dark and aggressive overall. I did not expect this after Festerday, which was much more reserved. Traditional Death Metal is almost relaxing to me. But this is a good thing. The title track reminds me of later lunar aurora... or what i imagine they would be putting out if they were still around. I believe I got the 445th/450 hand numbered silver vinyl. Cannot wait but I have V0 in the meantime.

I hadn't noticed, maybe you're right. My only complaint is it's a little too normal, its solid black metal nothing more, which normally includes distortion.

Just discovered this band today from Spotify during my workout session. And holy shitbags. These finns are monsters of a band. So melodic and beautiful and yet has that Black Metal vibes all around. By the first listen I could tell these guys are from Finland by their guitar works

Second track from the album released today. In the same vein as Dissolution, but somewhat less fast. Sounds really reassuring for the new album, it will be one of the highlights of 2020! 8 May will be a huge day, ...and Oceans, Naglfar and Green Carnation release their loooong-awaited new albums..

New single is great, made my day. Too short. Glad they are finally back. Though they never really left, Havoc Unit and Festerday were enjoyable in their own ways but far different from ...And Oceans.

The vocalist left the band :( The new album is still on the way, most likely with a new singer.

Huh, that's surprising. It wasn't long when I saw a new interview with Kenny... I wonder what happened there.

I finally found "Synæsthesia - The Requiem Reveries" from 2007. Really interesting split album with Havoc Unit (themselves) and Sin:Decay. And best of all, three "new" And Oceans tracks! Another dramatic shift in sound here.

Really getting into these guys now, and while listening to their discography, I found out that they have now ended [artist]Havoc Unit[/artist] in favor of [artist]Festerday[/artist]... which was their original name in 1992! I wonder if that also means they'll go back to Death Metal. But hopefully it will be some sort of black/death/industrial/symphonic hybrid band. :D
