Good to know that bands still making synthpop in 2020 decade! Sapta is one of the best synth pop albums of 2020, is probably Absurd Mind's best work so far and I'm impressed what sound engineers did with all the tracks.

I prefer the older sound of Sever Or Suffer or The Focus. You can tell it is the same band, the voice the instruments the production value but something is missing, the songs just are not catchy and/or something else I can't pinpoint but my ears can. Very sad I have not enjoyed the last two albums from an otherwise fantastic band.

After few spins, I don't know where you see this "worse Absurd Minds", dear tripodthunder. I hear it's a bit different AM, sometimes even much different, and I guess it's what you are mentioning - but still, the quality of "Sapta" is great, and the essence of their futurepop-darkwave-sound is even stronger than in "Tempus Fugit". I don't know if I took it too far, but seeing your comments reminded me like you see AM drowning like Project Pitchfork did - and if so, it's so unfair... and if it's just my delusion, then I guess it should be a matter of time you appreciate "Sapta". Because, yes, it's definitely great ^^

I think that after Tempus Fugit they became softer and more sentimental. But I can't say this is a bad thing, because although I didn't like Tempus Fugit at all after my first listening, some time after, I noticed that I began to enjoy pretty much half of the album, which was a bit unexpectable for me. And speaking of Sapta, I would like to agree that "One Blood" is fantastic, also I think that "Descent" is a very pleasant song.

Haven't listened to them for years. Came back weeks ago and discovered that they have many great albums. Right now can't get enough of Damn The Lie. Serve Or Suffer, The Focus and Noumenon are also very good, same with the The Cycle EP.

На мой взгляд, они совершенно разные, странно, что PP первая в списке похожих.

New album did not meet my expectations at all. I was very disappointed. The 2nd track was the standout for me but all the other songs were just ok to good... not acceptable for a top ten band of mine. Serve or Suffer was leagues better to me.

High expectations tend to be high disappointments, so be careful. :') Serve or Suffer is their magnum opus in my opinion, I love whole album so much, but The Focus didn't catch my attention that much, I don't feel this album perfectly.. but I will give it a chance after some months, maybe it will grow on me.

For me Damn The Lie is my favourite, discovered it earlier this year, I love all 10 songs. It's hard for me to point out what I love about DTL but I just have a special connection to it somehow. I must've checked it out at exactly the right time. But The Focus and Serve Or Suffer are also great, Noumenon can be difficult to get into but it got better and better with every listen. I also advise to get the The Cycle EP.

Check out The Focus album and Serve or Suffer album Toma. Those two albums are amazing almost all the way throughout! I have high hopes and expectations for this forthcoming album, the new song I heard called Last Walk was just ok and a little slow. I do hold this band to a higher level than that personally.

I'm excited of new album. This single is nothing new, but sounds exactly how Absurd Minds used to sound. I know AM from beginning of my Last.fm journey, but 'til now it was just few tracks - and with these few tracks I thought about Absurd Minds as one of the best futurepop/darkwave. Can't imagine what I will feel after digging more into their discography, as I am doing it now.

I found a link that shows a lot of lyrics to songs by this band, I do not know how accurate or complete it is though, still I will post the link for others to enjoy...

great combination of dark wave and ebm. reminds me of the project pitchfork's daimonion era. and that's the biggest compliment I can give! ;) great band!

I would like the lyrics too, they seem to not exist on the internet, however, I bet I could write them down as he is not hard to understand, finding time to do so is a whole other problem though for me...
