Adam Steffey is currently the mandolin player with the Dan Tyminski Band. He's worked with Alison Krauss and Union Station, The Isaacs, and Mountain Heart. He has been voted mandolin player of the year 6 times by the International Bluegrass Music Association and is a multiple Grammy winner. Along with all the live performing, he's done a variety of studio recording work with artists such as Alison Krauss, Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, Dolly Parton, Bill Frissel, Michelle Shocked, Little Big Town, Rhonda Vincent,Ron Block, Jerry Douglas, Ronnie Bowman, Jim Mills, Alecia Nugent, Clint Black, The Isaacs, Mountain Heart, Tim Stafford, The Lonesome River Band, Dale Ann Bradley, Steve Gulley, Ralph Stanley II, John Bowman, Tim Surrett, The Rochesters, The Singing Echoes, Hunter Berry, Susan Ashton, Jimmy Van Cleve, Clay Jones, Ernie Thacker, Steve Thomas, Claire Lynch, Kenny Smith, Carrie Hassler and Hard Rain, Tim Hensley, The Larkins, The ETSU Bluegrass Band, Dusty Miller, Tony Furtado, James Alan Shelton, and many more.
