"Remedy” was one of the early songs Adele worked on for 25, and she wrote it about her son, Angelo, as well as for other people she loves in her life. “I wrote it about my child,” she said to Rolling Stone. “But I sang it for everyone that I really love. When I wrote it, I got my confidence back in my writing ‘cause I believed in myself.”
The ballad, which Rolling Stone said “feels like Adele’s own version of Bob Dylan’s ‘Make You Feel My Love,’” was written by Adele in collaboration with Ryan Tedder for her third album 25. Tedder first confirmed his involvement in the album when he tweeted shortly after the commercial aired for the lead single “Hello.”
He previously worked with Adele on “Rumour Has It” and “Turning Tables”.
