Akord is a band from Aberdeen, Scotland. "Ok… Imagine Tool and Karnivool locked together in the sweet embrace of a musical orgy; a passion filled session with some light sweet jazz to set the mood. Incubus loiter in the room to tag in every so often and Biffy Clyro are there to serve the refreshments.

Akord is also a Moldovan pop band formed by Igor Stribiţchi (born March 17, 1984), Igor Sârbu (born March 6, 1987) and Victor Răilean (born December 25, 1983).
