Easily the best Unplugged. It can be emotionally draining to listen too, but this really gives you an insight into the mind of Layne and the whole band

They were saying this was the best episode after it came out, and it’s very cool to see some still feel it to this day. They were special.

Perfection. I prefer watching it to listening to the CD but still. It's great to listen to this album with the lights off and some candles burning late at night,

Incredible. Most of the songs here sound better than the originals. Down In A Hole is haunting.

I own a lot of Unplugged albums: Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Nirvana, 1000 Maniacs, Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam; but I honestly can say that this is the most moving, most heartfealt, most historically important and best one for me.

3rd greatest live performance IMO. Only Clapton's unplugged masterpiece and the out of this world Floyd's Pulse has had me in a trance more than this one...

There's very few major label bands that were able to create music as sincere sounding or utterly stuck in a single spot like alice in chains were. They remain an integral part of my development, and anyone wondering what sadness might sound like after year 1700 should take this album to heart.

On this album, you really can hear how the tracks got made in the first place. A must for nachspiels.
