“You Sent Me Flying,” the second track off Winehouse’s debut album "Frank", narrates Winehouse’s inadequate and vulnerable affection for a man much older than her. The more she begins to interact with him and unravel him as a person, the less attracted she begins to feel towards him.
The track serves as a literary foil to the preceding track “Stronger Than Me", which details Winehouse’s frustrations towards the same man’s immaturity and inability to assert any form of power or dominance over her.
