The craziest thing about thing album is that I didn't wanted to hear a "Malibu 2", which was one of the expectations I had for this album. Other than that, this album is such a triumphant, comic, confident, charismatic and VERY groovy. With sonic influences from 70s funk, neo soul, g-funk, boom bap and contemporary rnb, it's safe to say dat Anderson .Paak got another amazing body of work under his belt!

Okay I've had a lot of listens now and it's truly a great album from start to finish (except Left to Right). Trippy, Cheers and Sweet Chick flow into each other SOOOOO well. Left to Right is a bizarre end especially after the trio I just mentioned. Sweet Chick would have been a fantastic album closer. Left to Right is the weakest song for me, it's placement and overall quality aren't great. It would have been better placed after Mansa Musa. I'm surprised Bubblin' didn't make the album. I'd have picked that over Left to Right. Overall a fantastic album and I think it's my favourite album if his now.

Definitely agree the Left to Right should not be the end. My vote goes for Cheers as the closer, but Sweet Chick would definitely fit well, too!

I actually just bought my boss the CD for Christmas, and it says Sweet Chick and Left to Right are Bonus Tracks! Instantly, more cred goes to Oxnard. The pacing at the end made no sense, now, it does again.
