I don't love it as much as their first 3 albums but still think it's solid and mostly a return to consistency. Too bad it followed the disappointment that was EV and had its own reception and airplay time heavily impacted by Win's P4k scandal — because I think it has a few bops and good flow that would've otherwise eventually appealed to a lot of people given more musical exposure. It's a "Reflektor" tiered album, imo – which, is to say, still good!

This might be my favourite album of last year. I've only got round to listening to it in 2023, but what a beautiful album - my first proper listen to Arcade Fire too. I'm excited to hear the rest of their discography.

I love Everything Now with my whole entire soul so I was nervous this album wouldn't follow up well but WE is really something special. Incredible work. I just wish that Race and Religion had been more popular so that they would've let Regine preform it on tour because man she sounds the best she's ever sounded on that track. Powerhouse woman. Love her to death.

My husband and I fell for each other at our very first date to the record release party for The Suburbs. We stayed mad for each other after all these years, and We is the perfect soundtrack for our story. Love, love, love this album, almost as much as I love him!

Age of Anxiety II (Rabbit Hole), End of The Empire I-III and Unconditional II (Race and Religion) (feat. Peter Gabriel) are masterpieces. Thank you Arcade Fire.

Definitely an improvement on the last, and I really like a few of the songs - I think "Age of Anxiety I" and the two "Unconditional" tracks are my favorite. The rest of it's merely passable, though. I think their moment's past.
