“Hands On Me” is the eleventh track from Ariana Grande’s sophomore album "My Everything". It features American rapper A$AP Ferg. During an interview with MTV, Ferg called the track a “dope song” and said Grande is the “next Mariah Carey the next big voice that’s gonna pop”.
Although she hasn’t said anything specific about A$AP Ferg, Ariana did say this regarding the collaborations on "My Everything":
"I feel like a lot of people were surprised by the collaborations, but I feel like I’ve always been a little unexpected with my collaborations."
In an interview, A$AP Ferg talked about Ariana Grande and her then-boyfriend Big Sean:
"She’s cool, we did performances and stuff together. You know she’s Big Sean’s girl, and Big Sean is like a brother to me, so it’s like a big family when we get together and turn up."
Rolling Stone ranked the track as Ariana’s #36 best song, saying:
"The opening of the sensual “Hands on Me” evokes early 2000s Beyoncé, which is enough to give this song space on this list."
