“The Tide Is High (Get the Feeling)”, originally recorded by The Paragons, was covered by the group Atomic Kitten in 2002. Their version was released as the second single from their second studio album "Atomic Kitten".
The song was written in 1967 by John Holt, the lead singer for the Jamaican group The Paragons. The song gained international attention in 1980, when a version by the American band Blondie became a US/UK number one hit.
